Afghans & Rugs
The process of designing my afghans and rugs is largely intuitive. I try to showcase the richness of the yarns by bringing combinations of texture and color that allow the afghan or rug to stand out. I'm looking for both cozy and beautiful. My afghans are made from the softest alpaca, merino, and silk fibers I can find, and many incorporate hand spun and/or hand died yarns from around the world. My rugs are made from an incredibly soft core-spun alpaca, which means our feet really want to snuggle in to the oh-so-soft and oh-so-thick finished item.
